Copying a Picture and making it real life

For school yesterday, our challenge was to pick a picture of hair, make up, and a pose to put onto a model and compete against the other groups in our class. Above is my groups picture of the hair, I don't have the ones for the make up and pose, but the make up was a green smokey eye with bright red lips.

My group! Left to right, Cassie, Chantel, Taylor, Me. The best part is that we won! And we were able to finish in the time alotted to us! AND I learned how to work my new curling iron pretty well because we had to curl her whole thick long hair. We won a prize, but don't know what it is until Monday... Next week is spa week! Super exciting!
P.S. just so that nobody is totally shocked when they see me, I think I am going to go platinum blonde this week. Fun change, right? And when better to change up your hair a billion times then when you are in school???

This is my favorite picture from our trip to Mona. I love all of the other ones we took, and I have so many and love them all, but I think this one trumps the others. Picture of the year.

Introducing.... JOLENE!

I am going to put a name to face for you.... here is JOLENE! I love her. She is my Core Teacher at school and she is absolutely amazing and wonderful. She helps me understand everything and works with me if I need a little extra help, she is way easy going and always is so encouraging. I love going to school everday, I have met so many new friends and it really does feel like I have another new family. A "school" family LOL.

Weirdness...

Saw this as I was driving the other day. I guess some things you never expect you'll see. One question for you truck: WHERE are you going to take all those tires???

I LOVE SCHOOL! Love it. Through and through. I love all the people there, the teachers, I love learning about hair and being with everybody and all the new friends I've made! I'm super happy and am so glad to have made this my new future and career. LOVE IT. These are just random pictures... Lots of girls have been doing them but of course they do it all dressed up and such, but mine was kind of last minute, me and Allie had cabin fever and I said oh hey I need to have my picture took outside of my school! So off we went in my sunday grungies. But hey, they are still cute and HILARIOUS! Love me some PM.

Feather, Feather, Whose got the Feather?

This last weekend while my mom was out of town on a girls weekend, Me and Melanie went up to Ashley's salon in Bountiful to get her a feather. I have a feather in my hair that Ashley did as well probably no longer than 2 and a half weeks ago. Melanie loves it and we both look so cute with them!

I can't wait for when the day comes that I know how to do all of this my own self!
