The Biggest Loser

As you all know, one of my New Years Resolutions is to lose weight. I have gained quit a bit of what I like to call "grief weight" and am ready to have it go away! My work decided to help me out with this, and they started a program that is very well known as "The Biggest Loser". They are having different drawings each week and you keep a work out log, all of this cool motivational stuff to lose your unwanted weight. And, the contest starts TODAY! So, I have reinstated my 24 Hour Fitness gym membership, and as a bonus, the one in provo right up the street from my house happens to be one with a swimming pool! I also did my first weigh in... and... I am currently a "healthy" 170lbs! Goal weight is 150lbs at LEAST. I will keep you up on my weigh ins.. but for now it is going to the gym after work each day, and doing the Slimfat 3-2-1 diet and TRYING desperatly to cut coke out of my diet... we will see how that works. At the very least I should be able to cut down my intake. I am hoping that I will be at LEAST to 160lbs before Carmel and Claire's birthday extravaganza.. and FOR SURE my goal weight of 150lbs before Kristen and Daniels wedding. So, wish me luck and any words of encouragement would be GREAT! Hooray for New Years Resolutions and the ongoing battle of losing weight. *Sigh*

  1. Have you watched that show "I used to be fat"? Those people work very hard for about 90 days and lose about 90lbs. It shows us how hard it is to lose weight. I hope we both can be 150 by 4/29. I'm limiting myself to one dc in the am and that's it. I'm keeping a water bottle w/me at all times. Go MAREN GO!

  2. Yes I am a religious watcher of "I used to be fat". It is hard to lose weight but I think it is a little easier if you have lot sof weight to lose. I think my dc will be drank in the afternoon around lunch time.. .and then I have my water bottle and crystal light packs with me at my work desk. It is hard work. But I know I can do it because the first time we went to court, I was a size TEN. and now I'm back up to my 14. UG.
