On Christmas Eve, my grandma and grandpa Linnell come over for dinner and a Christmas Devotional. We always have chicken cheese soup, which is delicious. It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without it. Especially since my grandpa says every time, "Wow Julie, are we feeding the whole neighborhood?" without fail. This year Melanie did the devotional.
In activity days she had made a felt tree, with some lamenated ornaments that went along with the story of Baby Jesus in the scriptures.
After you read the scripture for each ornament, there was a question to go along with it. You had to answer the question correctly to get your ornament on the tree.
Kyle was very good at this game.... He would say the answer before Melanie was even done reading the scripture... That Kyle.
Molly also joined in on the fun in her cute christmas sweater of frosty the snowman.

For dessert we had ice cream pie!
